After her graduation from UCLA law school in 1986, Ms. Wu practiced international business, complex land development, and shopping center, joint venture, real estate, and corporate law until her retirement in 2012 as a partner in a Los Angeles law firm. During her career, she served as councilwoman of the L.A. County Adult Day Health Care Planning Council (ADHC), Chair of the San Gabriel Valley Bar Association, and as commissioner and Chair of the L.A. County Small Business Commission, where she advised the L.A. County Supervisors and drafted protective legal and financial regulations benefiting L.A. County small business owners. As such, Ms.Wu is the recipient of numerous commendations and awards. Today, Ms. Wu sits on several non-profit boards, including CAGAA, where she volunteers her legal experience and acumen to protect and advance the rights and comfortable and safe living environment of the residents of Golden Age Village.
